While the article in entitled Common Core incurs uncommon costs today's Modesto Bee was focused more on the investments schools are making in technology to meet the demands of the Common Core and Smarter Balanced Assessment, it is our hope that Dylan's contribution to the Hickman school community was not missed. We are proud of this young man and the unsolicited work that he did to help improve the education of the students of our schools. Many thanks to Dylan and the donors who made this possible.
